Why Ekkhara Exists
Most AI products solve problems that do not matter for people who do not care. They optimize for demos over deployment, novelty over reliability, hype over trust.
The industries that need AI most — healthcare, finance, regulation, government — are the ones most underserved by it. They cannot afford shallow software.
We chose a different path: build for consequential industries, design for trust, and ship products that practitioners actually want to use.
Pyae Sone Kyaw
Founder & CEO
Full-stack AI engineer with 4+ years building at the intersection of deep learning, NLP, and production AI systems. Founded Ekkhara with a conviction that AI products for regulated industries require a fundamentally different approach — one that treats trust, compliance, and design as first-class concerns.
Previously founding AI engineer at Siloett.AI (Station F), architecting responsible-AI platforms with safety filters, audit logging, and compliance guardrails. Before that, built urban mobility analytics pipelines at Floware (Ecole Polytechnique Incubator) and researched English-Myanmar machine translation at Telecom SudParis.
Holds dual Master's degrees in Data Science from Telecom SudParis (QS #46) and the Asian Institute of Technology. Speaks four languages. Has shipped 6+ production AI projects across healthcare, compliance, climate, and education.

Epidemiologist and sociologist with 15 years at Pfizer driving vaccine research, real-world evidence studies, and regulatory-grade clinical protocols. Currently affiliated with the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC).
Brings deep domain expertise in public health data systems, protocol design, and the regulatory frameworks that govern how health AI must operate. Co-architect of VaxEvidence, our real-world evidence platform for vaccine research.
